Please, I need your help!!!!! My 1 year old grandaughter has been diagnosed with MRSA and has had to have 1 boil removed about 3 months ago and just had one on her buttocks lanced and packed ( same as the first one ) only to find out that she is MRSA positive and was hospitalized over night. She was sent home with anitbotics and I’m wondering how she may have gotten this? My daughter is ( along with me) feeling very overwhelmed and I have no clue on how to ease her pain , let alone both of our fears. Oh Please contact me as soon as you can… I.m frightened!!!! with All of My heart Anne

Anne Taylor,
Hello, my niece has that same problem I do too and I’m 19 years old now. I get them all the time. MRSA is a infection that grows on the skin. Dont touch the bump when draining cause when draining the infection gets on fingers and the next site that is touch will get infected. Try washing your child in clorox to clean skin. Also you might wanna try blood purifiers. As me I have this in my blood so anything i eat with acid in it i break out. Once a head is shown try to bust it and relieve as much pressure as possible they will cry but it’s really worth it.
Thank you.

i had 2 of them one in my leg and one in my bottom, they are really painfull,my 3 yer old got them after i did but she did not get them really biglike i did, symptoms are usually fever and the area were is at gets really hot…..this was 2 years ago that it happend, after i sanitized my hole house with bleach and lysol we havent had another breakout, we also got rid of our couches …….after you get this for the first time it will always be in your body but that does not mean anything, also antibiotic usually dont work, you just get immune to it with the antibiotic…….if you dot get it treated it in time it could be deadly…………

I have been looking around the web about MRSA for a school project and have made some discoveries. There aren’t really antibiotics because the staph is growing immune but however there are still some antibiotics out there that can be used to treat it. The most common one is vancomycin, but there are others that are used. There are also different creams and antibiotic treatments that can be used to help keep MRSA from spreading on the body or colonizing there. you still would need to sanitize your place of dwelling, but i dont think a hospital would be the best place for anyone with MRSA since that is where most infections occur.
